Title: S.E.A. Invitational Team Event
Posted on: Sunday, June 6, 2004, 17:04 PM
At the A.J.A. South Eastern Area Team Event on Sunday, Stanway entered two junior teams and,
whilst they just missed out on the number of wins, all credit to them for putting on a good effort.
Both teams actually came third in their pools and hopefully gained a lot of experience.

Title: A.J.A. Nationals
Posted on: Tuesday, April 6, 2004, 11:35 AM
The A.J.A. Nationals were held on Sunday at Castle Vale.
Five juniors represented the club against what proved to be very tough opposition.
Whilst the boys didn't gain a position in the national squad, they all fought very hard and missed out in the play-offs.
So well done to MATTHEW STEWARD, JACK KNIGHTLEY and JACK WALSH.
However, LILY KNIGHTLEY, who is only six and taking part in her first ever competition,
gained 4th Bronze and earned the coveted squad badge which she can proudly wear on her gi.

Title: Happy New Year
Posted on: Friday, January 2, 2004, 20:04 PM
Happy New Year to you all and welcome back. We're looking forward to your return on the 9th January.
Thank you parents/guardians/judoka for making my job easier by renewing your memberships by the end of 2003.
As soon as we have the date for your first event - probably a grading - you will be advised.
So get learning your syllabus and show the determination that you are going to improve.
